Overview: The new generation 13 or 14 Seater Toyota Hiace Commuter Bus is characterised by a more rounded futuristic body, and a higher platform. The JDM version comes standard with 2 large glass panels on each side. HiAce also boasts double wishbone type front suspension, rack and pinion power steering, reduced turning circle, Anti-Skid Brakes (ABS) option, and reduced Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH).
Exterior: A huge electronically powered sliding door, one of the largest in its class, enables passengers to move around with ease. This high roof version has a host of luxury features for the passengers. The rear 5 panels of glass are tinted, and the seats are plush and comfy, original from Japan. Aerodynamic Design: Straight line stability and Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) are major factors in driver fatigue – particularly when you drive all day. That’s why the all-new HiAce features much enhanced aerodynamics. Extensive Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis resulted in a sleek windscreen angle, increased body rigidity, and integrated air dams at each side of the front bumper regulating air flow, giving you a much smoother and quieter ride. Toyota Hi-Ace Dual SRS airbags standard: Don’t leave safety to chance. This all-new HiAce comes standard with driver and front passenger SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags on every model. Upper and lower Y-Frame (Crocodile) chassis rails greatly enhance frontal impact absorption, strengthened front door impact beams enhance protection against side intrusion, and a brake pedal link mechanism allows the Brake Booster to rotate away from the steering column and brake pedal in a frontal collision. Toyota HiAce Anti-Skid Brakes (ABS) - All Hi-Ace models feature front ventilated disc brakes and rear drums with optional Anti-Skid Brakes (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA).
